Dr Lauren Fernandes graduated from the University of Queensland with a Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science, and has also completed further education through the Graduate Diploma of Child Health. She has since continued building on her knowledge base through work in hospitals between Brisbane all the way up to Rockhampton and out west to Dalby.

Dr Lauren really values building long-term relationships with her patients so that she can understand their concerns, and support their health and well-being. She is also passionate about preventative care and health education.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her extended family (and all of their dogs) and relaxing with art, music and baking.

Dr Lauren is a RACGP Registrar, completing specialist GP training within the practice.
